Got these for my 10-month old daughter as she starts to stand and (eventually) walk. Love the soft soles which allow her feet to flex and move naturally. She seems to like them, and it didn't take long for her to get used to wearing something on her feet (these are the first shoes I've ever put her in).

My crawler / pre-walker didn't like the hard sole shoes I got him previously. He took to the Xplorer in no time. It's super flexible allowing him full range of movement in his feet. The only shortcoming of this older style is the lack of the pull tab at the back which makes it easier to put on. However, once the shoes are on, they stay on!

The only downside to this shoe us that for some reasons, it dies not stay on my baby's feet well. It keeps sliding off every now and then. A little disappointement with this one.

These shoes were a great choice for my 12 month old as he transitions from crawling to walking. They are extremely lightweight and flexible, but sturdy enough to stand up to outdoor use...a great balance between supporting his foot development and protecting his feet. The reinforced toe ensures that he doesn't tear any seams while crawling. We live in Chicago where it is starting to get cold this time of year and these shoes seem to provide adequate warmth for the Fall weather when he wears them with socks.

Great shoes.
Easy to put on and off, he walks/runs in them with ease (trips in other shoes), and they are so cute on his little feet!
